Early Life and Community Engagement

Born in 1892, Maulvi Zamir Ahmad Nuhi emerged as a prominent figure in Usia, a village situated within the culturally rich Kamsar region. The area is predominantly inhabited by the Kamsari Pathans, a Muslim community with historical ties to the Hindu Bhumihar caste. In the early 20th century, Usia faced disputes with the Anapur estate. To address these conflicts, the estate appointed representatives from Usia, with Maulvi Zamir Ahmad Nuhi serving as the last such representative. He managed the Anapur estate until 1947, playing a crucial role in mediating disputes and fostering communal harmony.​

Literary Contributions and Cultural Influence

Beyond his administrative duties, Maulvi Zamir Ahmad Nuhi was an accomplished writer and poet. His literary works, though not widely published, were known for their depth and reflection on societal issues. Founding of Jamia Arabia Makhzanul Uloom

After retiring from his role in estate management, Maulvi Zamir Ahmad Nuhi turned his focus to education. In 1952, he founded Jamia Arabia Makhzanul Uloom in Usia, which has since grown to become the largest madarsa in Ghazipur. The institution has played a pivotal role in providing Islamic education and has produced numerous scholars who have contributed to religious and social spheres.​
